It seems so cruel to us that anyone could say the people who died by falling from burning building were "jumpers" or suicided. They faced certain death, either by torturous fire or blunt trauma by falling on the pavement far below. Death or death. No choice. In New York's 1911 Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire, dozens of the 145 women trapped on the three upper floors jumped to their deaths to escape the flames.

| If the interior walls are drywall / gypsum board, break through the walls into the adjacent room. Failing that, use the curtains or other suitable material to make a rope that reaches to the floor below. Hang from that, smash out the next lower floor's windows, then swing yourself in. ...Oh right, these are women; they can't figure this shit out. *facepalm* |

| If you see such a thing, shoot at lower window to break the glass. Without special trainings, it's below 1/4 chance to fall inside the lower floor but it's way better than nothing. |
