Women jumped to their death from burning building.

It seems so cruel to us that anyone could say the people who died by falling from burning building were "jumpers" or suicided. They faced certain death, either by torturous fire or blunt trauma by falling on the pavement far below. Death or death. No choice. In New York's 1911 Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire, dozens of the 145 women trapped on the three upper floors jumped to their deaths to escape the flames.
