Brutality → Henry Lee Lucas... and his female victims
Henry Lee Lucas (August 23, 1936 - March 13, 2001) was an American criminal, convicted of murder and once listed as America's most prolific serial killer. Lucas confessed to involvement in about 3,000 murders, an average of about one murder per day between his release from prison in mid-1975 to his arrest in mid-1983.
Lucas confessed to killing a hundred women. The confessions included descriptions of dismemberment, necrophilia, and sometimes cannibalism. Lucas allegedly carried out many murders with an accomplice, Ottis Toole. They usually picked up mostly hitchhikers and killed all of them. Lucas was sentenced to seventy-five years in prison, after his confession police from across the nation called Montague County hoping that Lucas would solve many of their unsolved murders. The first image is from the movie "Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer" (1986) (actress Mary Demas played a role of a dead prostitute in that movie; shown tied up in a motel bathroom with a broken bottle stuck in her face). The last image is from his police's profile. You can see how identical those images. On March 13, 2001, Lucas died in prison from heart failure.

| He is really known to have killed only 3 or 4 people. At most, he killed 10 to 15 times. He was a compulsive confessor. Police from all over the US saw his willingness to admit to unsolved murders as a way to clear their cases. And Lucas liked the attention, better food, cigarettes, etc he received from the police and the media for admitting to murders he didn't commit. |
