Interesting → Charon's Boat
In Greek mythology, Charon was the ferryman of Hades. Charon took the newly dead souls from one side of the river Acheron to another one on his boat. The Acheron is a river located in the northwest Greece. It was believed that Archeron is a branch of the underworld river Styx. The river Styx separates the world of the living from the world of the dead. In various myths, the heroes Heracles, Orpheus, and Dionysus all journeyed to and from on the boat of Charon. Orpheus also made the trip to the underworld and returned alive (the image 4).

|A curse upon you foul Dutchmen all.|
Only the vile, depraved Dutch would stoop so low as to offer tragedy as entertainment.
Nederlanders all- the bell tolleth for thee.
Repen or be damned.
