War → Soviet-Nazi military parade in Brest (09/22/1939)
Brest, Eastern Poland, September 22nd of 1939. You can see Soviet Brigade General Semion Krivoshein and German Wehrmacht General Heinz Guderian during the Soviet-Nazi military parade in Brest. After the parade the German troops retreated beyond the Zapadnyi Bug River. Units of the Red Army were quartered in the border fortress of Brest.
The last two images were captured in Brest (the Soviet Union) just two years later. This woman was hanged from the gates of her home by Nazi for nothing.
