Murder → Dead Amir Khattab (Muslim guerilla fighter)
Amir Khattab (born Saudi Arabia, 1969, died March 20, 2002), was a Muslim guerilla fighter and financier working with Chechen Mujahideen in the First Chechen War and the Second Chechen War (Chechnya, Russia).
He was killed on a night of March 19-20, 2002, when a Dagestani messenger hired by the Russian FSB gave Khattab a poisoned letter.

His actions in confronting the enemies were base on the teaching of Islam ; Al-Quran and Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W.). Man of Saudi's origin come from a respectable and affluent family and about to go to US to further his studies but by Allah’s gracious he chooses the path of Fisabilillah, he left KSA for Afghanistan at the age of 16 or 17 and then Tajikistan and then Chechnya (he gain shahid there, InsyaAllah). He and other Mujahideen battled Russian troops invaded Chechnya in wars yet the Russian was greatly defeated and humiliated despite the Mujahideen were outnumbered and weak in great weapons. This is the signs of help from Allah towards His truthful servants, Alhamdulillah. |
