Executions → Execution of Drug Dealers in China
China maintains the death penalty for a large number of offenses, including non-violent crimes and economic crimes. A large proportion of sentences and executions are imposed for drug-related crimes. Execution is by shooting.
Based on public reports available, Amnesty International estimated that at least 1,010 people were executed in China during 2006 year, although the true figures were believed to be much higher. Credible sources suggest that between 7,500 to 8,000 people were executed in China in 2006. The official statistics remain a state secret, making monitoring and analysis problematic.

| Murderers, not drug dealers. But having said that, drug dealers and big scam artists deserve more the death penalty then some minor murderers--- simply because they hurt more people. |

| ok see this is how shit should be done here in the u.s. by officials. its really stupid how in some places people get put away for 5 or 10 years or more for a murder or shit like that and they dont get that they get less all account of good behavior. its like from these pix and examples, if they do this to drug dealers, well people who murder get just as bad. but here in u.s. no, people just get put away for a while and if you're lucky the courts keep them in for a long time. or maybe death row sometimes.... |
