Executions → Execution of Drug Dealers in China

China maintains the death penalty for a large number of offenses, including non-violent crimes and economic crimes. A large proportion of sentences and executions are imposed for drug-related crimes. Execution is by shooting.

Based on public reports available, Amnesty International estimated that at least 1,010 people were executed in China during 2006 year, although the true figures were believed to be much higher. Credible sources suggest that between 7,500 to 8,000 people were executed in China in 2006. The official statistics remain a state secret, making monitoring and analysis problematic.

Ordinary drug users are not supposed to
be executed, they normally would be
sentenced to get compulsory
detoxification treatment in rehab camps.
But unfortunately many users end up
getting involved in distributing and
trafficking drugs, and these accusations
can get their heads blown off

They should do that in the US. Then the US
taxpayers can support some of these South
American countries. Certainly solve our
drug problem. But then wipe out about 25%
of the population.

so much. The look on each person makes you woendr what kind of thoughts are going thru their minds. It takes talent to make the viewer want answers to their questions. The picture in the church would have looked like any other picture but you captured it with a completely unique vision. I love the picture of the birds. It is also unique because of the view you had showing not just a sky with birds but you used the light, with the statue having the last comment. It really took an eye for this statement this picture makes.

What the fuck?
So your saying that drug users and drug dealers
should be put to death because of something they
choose to do to them selves with that logic people
who smoke or drink beer should die too that's just
brilliant

In addition to my prior post, I want to add that
the (communist) Chinese government has also
been using execution on political prisoners,
which is wrong.

Another problem with execution is it is final. If a
mistake is made, it can't be undone.

But with regard to drug enforcement, it's the
only approach that works. History show this.

China eliminated their drug problem by shooting
dealers and users. Initially they tried shooting
dealers, but that wasn't very effective with
millions of opium addicts who still found ways
to get it. So then they shot the users too, and
that worked.

Who are USA and European nations to criticize
that? It has worked very effectively to eliminate
and prevent drug culture and addiction.

By contrast the USA and European nations have
rampant drug addiction problems.

Also, it is worth noting that European nations,
most notably Britain were largely to blame for
creating the opium addiction problems in China
(in 1800s) because Britain and others were using
military force on China to force opium on
Chinese, thus ruining the lives of millions of
Chinese and creating the largest drug addiction
problem in history, which the Chinese
government later had to clean up.

Swift justice. Perhaps they think it is better to do this than have a country strung out on drugs...
