| I saw a messy accident once. 18-wheeler ran over -squished- a man at Broadway and 26th street (I think. Three streets intersect at that point). Blood pumping down the street. Traffic disrupted and re-routed for 10 blocks... the Daily News did NOT bother to report it ! Neither did they report a major service collapse on the A-line at Canal. I was 20 minutes late getting to work. They also downplayed the death of 21 polo ponies. The ONLY good thing about that paper is their TV coverage. |
