Female genital cutting, also known as female genital mutilation, female circumcision or female genital mutilation/cutting, refers to all procedures involving partial or total removal of the external female genitalia or other injury to the female genital organs whether for cultural, religious or other non-therapeutic reasons. It is practiced throughout the world, with the practice concentrated most heavily in Africa.

| This looks like a consenting adult doing it for adult body mod purposes, probably cosmetic "designer vagina" stuff. Circumcising baby boys who have no say, no consent, is much worse than this, and as bad as female genital mutilation on nonconsenting individuals - since it's really the same thing. We're just socially trained and conditioned to think it's okay to introduce our boys to the world by physically mutilating their perfectly normal and healthy genital organs for life. |
