Female genital cutting, also known as female genital mutilation, female circumcision or female genital mutilation/cutting, refers to all procedures involving partial or total removal of the external female genitalia or other injury to the female genital organs whether for cultural, religious or other non-therapeutic reasons. It is practiced throughout the world, with the practice concentrated most heavily in Africa.

| It makes you wonder how we have come from this to being able to have medicine that can kill any disease in the world. However, in africa this is bad but i feel sorry for the young men who have to prove their man hood by running up to a lion and pulling it's tail. Yet again some american boys should try that so they can actually grow some. Many people do not know how the world actually is. It is a very scary and savage place. | And for all you stupid fucks, it is obvious that she is tied up in every picture...She is being forced to do this, if it were surgery it would be totally different.I'm disgusted by this picture and the countries that do it, woman are forced to do this in some countries..sure its normal but could you imagine how much that would hurt? they sometimes use razors and even scissors.This is a practice that should be ended along with male circumcision.They should only do it to those who want it done..not the other way around. |

| This is standard female circumcision. Although it isn't normally performed upon females at birth, it is still somewhat common in the united states. The operation consists of the removal of the outer labia, which are part of the vulva. The outer labia is not important, similar to a human appendix. |
