Medical → Metastatic melanoma
Skin melanoma is the most malignant type of cancer. It usually begins in a mole. When there is distant metastasis (spread of cancer from one organ or part to another non-adjacent organ or part), the cancer is generally considered incurable. Some patients with metastatic melanoma do not have an obvious detectable primary tumor. The five year survival rate in metastatic melanoma is less than 10%.

Cancer, although it may seem hereditary,
has been proven to be more likely caused
by the environment to which you're
exposed to than your genes.
Good example of this is from a book I
read "The Secret History on the War on
It was about a family who all developed
serious kinds of cancer. Except they
were all adopted by this couple that was
their adoptive mom and dad. No one was
related in that family and they all
developed serious forms of cancer.

|Cancer seams to be hereditary in my |
family... About a few months ago I
noticed I had mirrored freckles on my
arms... 3 on each arm, in the exact same
spots, exact distance, and exact
sizes... they look like Orion's belt,
and when I put my arms together, the 3
points are identical and touch each
other exactly like they were drawn with
a ruler... Could this be Melanoma?
