Leprosy or Hansen's disease, is a chronic incurable disease caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium leprae. Leprosy causes permanent damage to the skin, nerves, limbs and eyes. Contrary to popular belief, leprosy does not actually cause body parts to simply fall off.
In 2002, 763,917 new cases of leprosy were detected worldwide. Thank you for visiting CharonBoat.com! Take time to appreciate life!
Top photo reminds me of Jeff Goldbloom morphing into "Brundlefly"
these pics are actually pretty sad and unfortunate. no one should have to live to see their body morph into something that should be immortalized in a sideshow. poor things!
My my, what does it do? I think that
skinned cats purr just like the rest of
the chairs in the mobile ice cream.

Guy on top looks like something from Star Trek or Star Wars. Is Leprosy an opportunist disease that needs a compromised immune system to root in ?
The top picture should be named "ChocoBoy"
aah that's so sad =(

hahaha stupid assholes
jude , like you said treated but it means it can be stopped from developing by taking a daily care but it is in fact incurable.
Leprosy is not incurable, in fact it's very easily treated but most victims are beyond medical reach,
