Brutality → Mines clearance by... animals
Landmines are an immense problem throughout the continent of Africa, specifically in the way they affect public health; the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies estimate that as many as 140 million Africans live in countries where the threat of injury or death due to landmines is high or very high.

| Instead of using innocent animals to do their dirty work, why don't some of the 140 MILLION Africans affected, train some of the other 140 MILLION Africans affected, in how to detect and destroy the landmines that they're plagued by?. Seems like a no-brainer to me, and I'm sure they'd quickly clear up their problem once and for all. Needless to say, the 139 MILLION Africans surviving, would be eternally grateful for the sacrifice made by the others!. |
