Accident → Lovely... Amazon

He could not have been dead very long the skin thats still intact is not mottled and he was in the water so the skin would change color after a few hours

That's not correct. If it were piranhas, all that would be left would be a skeleton. Even then, piranhas are scavengers, only eating dead or very small living things like baby birds. The scent of blood doesn't necessarily attract them. Perhaps he died a bit ago and some fish found and began feeding on him. But they wouldn't be piranhas.
