Accident → Hurricane Gustav (Haiti, 2008)
Hurricane Gustav was the seventh tropical cyclone, third hurricane and second major hurricane of the 2008 Atlantic hurricane season. Gustav caused serious damage and casualties in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, Cuba and the United States.

| It sucks that all thoes babies died, but this kind of stuff happpens every day on a scale that is thousands of times worse. It makes this no less horifying and no less tragic, but at least it puts this incident in perspective. Its a bummer. Thats all it is. The WHO estimates 40,000 people starve to death every day. The world is a big place and this kind of stuff is bound to happen. |
