Medical → Impaled
This 32-year old male fell from a tree on a vertical metal rod in his garden. The rod entered his scrotum making an exit above the left clavicle.
He underwent an emergent surgical intervention by a team of cardiothoracic, vascular and abdominal surgeons. Longitudinal sternotomy and laparotomy allowed surgeons to remove the metal rod carefully with no severe signs of injuries of abdominal and thoracic organs. | i dont understand a lot of the comments on charonboat that are like "oh hes so stupid" "this person is retarded" a lot of the things that people say that too can happen to anyone.. theyre ACCIDENTS... like this one which is an accident. i feel bad for the guy.. as if falling from the tree itself isnt bad enough, he lands on a pole that goes the whole way through him.. :( that sucks. |
