Medical → Brown Recluse spider bite
The brown recluse spider is native to the United States from the southern Midwest south to the Gulf of Mexico.
Actual brown recluse bites are rare. A minority of bites form a necrotizing ulcer that destroys soft tissue and may take months and possibly (very rarely) years to heal, leaving deep scars.

| my mom was bit by a brown recluse she had just gotten a tattoo on her right shoulder and the doctor said the spider was probably attracted by the blood it almost destroyed the tattoo she was lucky they said if if it had been like an inch over the tat would have been history when she finally did go into the hospital to get it taken care of they had to cut a hole in her back where the bite occured and they wouldnt put her under to do it so she was awake the whole time |

| I picked up some dollar bills from my kitchen table once and put them in my pocket. I looked on top of the very next bill under the last one I grabbed and the sat a brown recluse. I still remember that (obviously, since I just told you about it). |
