Suicide → Bud Dwyer Suicide
Robert "Budd" Dwyer (November 21, 1939 - January 22, 1987) was a former Pennsylvania politician who, on the morning of January 22, 1987, committed suicide by shooting himself in the mouth with a revolver during a televised press conference.

| I thank God I did not have access to a gun that one winter when I was depressed for 4 months in university.. I would have pulled the trigger for sure. Instead, I recovered, have been stable and happy for 7 years since, and am stronger than I ever was before. If ANYONE is on here thinking about suicide, don't. Just wait it out... do not entertain any negative thoughts. |
