Medical → Filipino child is suffering from rabies
This poor Filipino child is dying of rabies.

Rabies is a disease which may get from being bitten by an animal infected with the rabies virus. Rabies causes acute encephalitis (inflammation of the brain). Rabies in human has been regarded as uniformly fatal when associated with the hydrophobia symptoms (a pathological fear of drinking fluids because of painful spasms while swallowing). A common rabies symptom is drooling (like in this case). Raccoons are the most common wild animals infected with rabies in the United States. Skunks, foxes, bats, and coyotes are the other most frequently affected.

| poor little bastard - they shouldn't make them lie down - they drown in their own liquid in their lungs - they should sit them up to alleviate the sensation of drowning. Putting water near to them is pure torture - it makes it ten times worse. Ask any tropical disease doctor. Shoot those adults for being stupid. |

| I saw this a few times and I couldn't stop crying for a long time. It's so heartaching to see his agony and anxiety, strpped down to the bed. My heart bleeds for his family and him. I surely hope that they will eliminate rabies around the world. Rest in peace young one. |
