Terrorism → Hostage → Beslan school siege (09/01/2004)
The Beslan school siege began when a group of armed Chechen separatists took more than 1,200 schoolchildren and adults hostage on September 1, 2004, at School Number One in the town of Beslan, North Ossetia-Alania, (an autonomous republic in the North Caucasus region of the Russian Federation).
334 civilians were killed, including 186 children, and hundreds were wounded. Chechen terrorist Shamil Basayev took responsibility for the hostage taking.

| terrorists are a way of life. these acts of terrorism are horriffic, i mean, killing children? thats just the worst thing you could do. even though i am american (yes an INFADEL!!!!!) the russians tactics were horrible. they should have cut the power, sent in a SPECIALIZED TEAM instead of tanks, and there would have been very minimal friendly fire or civilians killed. to all those who think this is funny or for a just cause, FUCK YOU. even though this is for a school assignment(8th gr.), im not ashamed to write that. and to m aslim in particular, i hope you burn in hell and get fucked in the ass by one of your pet camels. |
