Brutality → Soviet women at WWII (Set 1)
490,235 women served in the Soviet Red Army during the WWII. 94,662 of them were killed.
Defence Minister of the Russian Federation Sergei Ivanov said the Soviet Union had lost 26,600,000 people, including 8,668,000 servicemen during World War II.

| War is no joke. I lived the effects of war my whole life. Both my parents were in Europe as teens during WW2. They lived with the horrors, nightmares, flashbacks until the day they both died. Some stories they told me as I got older explained some of the bizzare behaviors they had, but the worst thing was the day I came home with my first tattoo at age 15 and my mother had a breakdown for 2 days. She then told me her experience in a nazi concentration camp of which I never knew. Her 2 yr old brother was stomped to death right infront of her and her mother by an SS soldier as they were being rounded up for transport to the camp. 4 cousins shot in a line up, and an entire neighboring family completely eradicated ... murdered for being greek jews. my mother was orthodox greek,m lucky for me, or I wouldn't be here either.
